To start your journey, you visit one of Africa’s most iconic natural wonders, the Victoria Falls. A transfer across the border to Botswana and short flights in a light aircraft will transport you to a world where nature rules supreme. You go on safari in the Chobe National Park, the Khwai Region bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, and the Okavango Delta to observe an abundance of wildlife on game drives and bush walks and witness beautiful sunsets over Botswana’s waterways on boat cruises. Through the expert local guides at the beautiful lodges you visit, you can gain a deeper appreciation for the stunning nature and wildlife all around you.

Welcome to Zimbabwe. A transfer driver will greet you upon arrival at the airport and take you to your accommodation in Victoria Falls. The town is named after the mighty Victoria Falls, also known as ‘Mosi oa Tunya’, which means the ‘smoke that thunders’. Here adventure abounds and there are many activities to choose from: you can walk to the falls, join a sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi or fly over the falls in a microlight plane or helicopter (all optional). The more adventurous amongst you can even go white water rafting or bungee jumping off the Victoria Falls bridge (all activities are optional). You spend the first two nights at the Batonka Guest Lodge in a quiet neighbourhood of Victoria Falls.

Day 3 – 4 | Victoria Falls – Kasane / Chobe National Park

Enjoy a relaxing breakfast before your transfer driver collects you for your transfer across the border to Botswana and your accommodation for the next two nights at Chobe Bakwena Lodge. The lodge is set in indigenous riverine woodland overlooking the famous Chobe River. The location and the unique eco design of the camp serve as a comfortable retreat to relax. Once settled, choose from a variety of activities available to you. You can find spectacular wildlife in this region on game drives in an open view safari vehicle to the Chobe National Park or alternatively, observe the animals as they come to the Chobe Riverfront whilst you are on a boat cruise on the Chobe River which is the natural border between Botswana and Namibia. Perhaps you would also like to take the opportunity to learn more about life in a nearby local village on a cultural outing. Speak to your hosts and they will be happy to make recommendations. Your accommodation will be the Chobe Bakwena Lodge.

Day 5 - 6 | Kasane – Khwai Region

After a delicious breakfast, you are transferred to the Kasane International Airport for your light aircraft flight to the Khwai region. A driver from the camp will meet you at the airstrip and take you to your accommodation located on a private concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve and Khwai Community Concession. Your home for the next two nights is MmaTsebe Camp. Situated on the banks of the Mbudi river you find an area of mixed vegetation, open plains, riverine forest and Hippo Pools, where you will spend the next two nights. Look forward to witnessing amazing wildlife sightings, whilst accompanied by a professional guide. The list of animals which can be sighted here is long and diverse and includes elephant, buffalo, zebra, lion, leopard, cheetah, African wild dog, giraffe, hippo, and a host more. Your camp not only serves as an excellent base for game drives in a 4×4 safari vehicle, but also for mokoro excursions on the Mbudi river. Between the activities, you can lounge around the camp’s swimming pool and look forward to delicious meals. You overnight in a en-suite tent of MmaTsebe Camp.

Day 7 - 8 | Khwai Region – Okavango Delta

Time dependant you can enjoy a last morning activity and breakfast before your flight from Khwai to the Okavango Delta. During this flight you can enjoy breath-taking views over one of the largest inland deltas in the world. A transfer will then bring you to your accommodation. Built on a palm covered island and located in the heart of the Okavango Delta, the Setari Camp is surrounded by picturesque floodplains. Known for its iconic Delta landscapes, you can immerse yourself in this wilderness of lagoons and waterways. Setari is a paradise for birdwatchers, especially for those seeking water-loving birds. During your time in the delta, you explore this pristine wilderness in a traditional mokoro canoe and by foot on a bush walk. In the afternoons, you will have the option of joining a boat cruise to admire the African sun setting over the waterways of the delta. You spend the following two nights in a classic safari style tented chalet of the Setari Camp.

After breakfast, your fly-in safari comes to an end. You will be transferred to the airstrip for your last light aircraft flight to Maun Airport for your connecting flight back home. Alternatively, if this adventure has awoken your appetite to explore more of Africa, please let us know and we will be delighted to assist you further.

Important: On all light aircraft flights in Botswana,luggage, including camera equipment and hand luggage, is restricted to 20 kg per person, and only soft bags will be accepted. Hard suitcases or bags with wheels cannot be transported, as they physically cannot fit into the aircraft.

The maximum dimensions for luggage are 30 cm wide x 35 cm high and 70 cm long. If you need more baggage, please contact us so we can quote you for the excess luggage.

Passengers weighing over 115 kg should please advise us when booking, as we may need to include the cost of an additional seat on internal flights for your safety and comfort.
