Amazing trip. I had reached out to inquire about the 9-day camping safari in Botswana, which we booked, and Dirk helped to add on trips before and after as well. Fabulous! The coordination between trips was flawless. When we did arrive late for a connection, there was someone there to help.
The camping safari was AMAZING! This was so well organized, the guides and staff were excellent, and the camping and jeep accommodations very comfortable. We saw amazing wildlife up close – and our driver and guide (Mpho) was a true skilled professional. Being under the stars at night was fabulous. The food was amazing as well.
MPho was great. A super driver in very wet conditions. he was able to locate wildlife, keep a respectful distance and give us all great views. He was knowledgeable and fun.
The tents were very comfortable. I had a hot shower every day! The cooks were great. A different soup each night, and fabulous food and drinks!
We couldn’t get to Moremi because it was closed due to flooding. Although this was an initial disappointment, the alternative – an outside concession proved impressive as well.
Super fun fly-in experience. Kessy clearly knows the area and the wildlife – he was great. He got us through tight spaces, and even on a rainy day, made the trip enjoyable and found hippos for us! We caught our first tigerfish with him too!
We arrived late for our connection to Victoria Falls, but the folks there to meet us helped us quickly regroup and got us to our destination in time for the next tour!
I hope to go again in the dry season! Amazing trip.
