Dumela (hello), and welcome to Botswana. At the Maun Airport, a representative from your charter flight company will greet you and assist you with boarding your connecting flight to the Okavango Delta. On a clear day, you can see the beautiful landscapes of the Delta from above.
From this birds-eye view, you’ll see that the Okavango River has not managed to carve its way to the ocean. Instead, it flows into the Kalahari, forming the breathtaking Okavango Delta. This area is home to stunning rivers, lagoons, marshes, grasslands, and wooded islands.
After safely landing, a boat will transfer you through a maze of waterways directly to your camp. Here, you can relax and freshen up before the first activity of your Okavango Delta fly-in safari.
On a boat cruise, you will explore the Okavango Delta and experience the stunning sunset casting a golden glow over the waters.
In the evening, a delicious meal awaits you at the Setari Camp, your accommodation for the following two nights.

An exciting day ahead is the reward for an early start. Today, you can choose a water or land-based experience.
The water experience allows you to spend your morning in a traditional dugout canoe called a “mokoro”. A poler steers this canoe, and the experience will enable you to peacefully glide along the water, taking in the beautiful scenery, wildlife and numerous birds. Travelling silently, you can glide close to the birdlife, and photographers will be rewarded with the perfect position for stunning photography.
In the late morning, you return to your camp for brunch and relaxation.
Enjoy a boat safari in the afternoon to continue your Okavango Delta adventure.
Alternatively, on the land-based experience, you can embark on guided walking safaris across some Delta islands. While exploring on foot, you’ll get to experience nature from a different perspective and have the opportunity to observe things you might have overlooked otherwise.
Back at camp and content from an incredible day, a delicious dinner awaits. After dinner, sit around the fire pit, admire the beautiful night sky above, and relive your day with your companions. Sleep deeply for another night at the Setari Camp.
